Our third vintage of this beautiful chardonnay from the eastern Russian River Valley, vibrant aromas of citrus peel, tart nectarine, acacia flower, and a touch of hazelnut waft from the glass. The medium body carries apricot, peach, and tangerine goodness with a drizzle of raw honey that belies a sensuous elegance to the wine and silkiness to the texture. The tangy acidity draws out the smoothness of the finish with a touch of mineral to close out this satisfying experience.

A perennially intriguing wine, the McDonald Mountain pinot is loaded with power and depth while proudly displaying its savory, cool climate origins. Piquant flavors of black tea, citrus, and cardamom are buoyed by mouthwatering acidity and firm, palate coating tannins. Our first vintage from this classic vineyard farmed by the Russian River Valley pioneer, the Martinelli family, charms from first whiff. Bright, brambly blackberry and raspberry aromas are swirled with warm baking spices like a pie fresh from grandma’s oven, inviting the senses to sit and stay a while to enjoy this light-tomedium bodied wine as it embraces the palate with raspberry coulis and berry fruit.
