Orders placed Monday-Friday by 9am PST will be processed by the winery the same
day. Orders placed after 9am may be processed on the next business day. Orders are
not processed or shipped on Saturdays, Sundays or major holidays.
Gary Farrell Vineyards & Winery uses a third party fulfillment center and orders generally ship from CA within 1-2 business days of order processing; however,
the exact shipment date and common carrier used (UPS or FedEx) depends on the delivery method, inventory, weather, and external
factors beyond our control.
DEFAULT SHIPPING METHOD
WEST COAST (AZ, CA, CO, ID, ND, NV, OR, MT, WA, WY):
Orders are shipped UPS Ground direct from our fulfillment center,
unless otherwise requested. For Express requests including 2 Day Air or Overnight delivery,
orders must be received by the winery by 9am PST for same day fulfillment and shipping.
Orders generally take 1-3 business days to reach the delivery destination and a tracking number will be emailed upon shipment to the address listed in the order. In June-October, we do not ship on Thursdays or Fridays to spare the wine package from sitting in the heat over the weekend.
MIDWEST & EAST COAST:
- January-October: Orders default to temperature-controlled shipping at no extra cost, which takes 7-10 business days to reach the destination once the order has shipped from CA (this can sometimes be 2-3 weeks after the order was placed due to timing and logistics). *How it works: Your order will be placed on a third party temperature-controlled truck approx 1 week after the order is placed. At this time, you will receive an email notification that the order has left our fulfillment center. The refrigerated truck stores your wine at a stable 58 degrees to maintain wine quality during transportation. When the truck reaches the nearest designated routing center, UPS will retrieve the package and email you a tracking number and estimated delivery date. Delivery usually occurs within 1-2 days of reaching this routing center; please note that the wine will not be temperature-controlled once UPS has taken possession of the package, but even in extreme temperatures, the wine should uphold its quality during this brief period of time.
- November-December: Due to time-sensitive holiday gifting, we do not utilize temperature-controlled shipping during this period. Orders are shipped UPS Ground direct from our fulfillment center, unless otherwise requested. For Express requests including 2 Day Air or Overnight delivery, orders must be received by the winery by 9am PST for same day fulfillment and shipping. Orders generally take 3-7 business days to reach the delivery destination. A tracking number will be emailed upon shipment to the address listed in the order.
* Orders received after 9am PST on Thursday will be held for shipment on the following week's temperature-controlled truck.
WINE & HEAT: Wine can be subjected to temperatures of up to 120°F for a few hours and escape unharmed (read more here). We ship year-round and rarely ever have quality issues due to weather. Please trust us to hold/delay your shipment as necessary, or replace any wines damaged in transit.
If an order is mis-shipped due to incorrect order information provided by the sender,
the sender is responsible for all associated fees and will be billed accordingly
by Gary Farrell Vineyards & Winery. Mis-shipments include: delivery to the wrong
address, delivery intercepts, and orders returned to the winery. In the event that
Gary Farrell Vineyards & Winery or our third party fulfillment center processes
an order incorrectly, we will incur the fees associated to re-route or re-ship the
order for accurate delivery.*
*It is the responsibility of all Gary Farrell Vineyards & Winery wine club members
to maintain accurate membership information at all times. Changes to your membership
must be submitted in writing two weeks prior to February 1, May 1 and September
1 to avoid mis-shipments of automatic wine club releases.
Gary Farrell Winery is not responsible for UPS or Fed Ex shipping delays which can be frequent during the holiday season.
Gary Farrell Vineyards & Winery will always do its utmost to ensure timely order
processing and delivery to meet or exceed customers’ expectations. With this commitment,
we appreciate your understanding of factors out of our control and actions taken

the right to change our shipping policies and procedures at any time to accommodate
our team, fulfillment partners, and customers.
