Healdsburg Wine Bars

Find a wine bar in Healdsburg with lots to choose from for every taste

Find a great wine bar in Healdsburg, where walking is the best way to get a feel for the local scene. Wine and food grow abundantly in every direction, surrounding the town with fresh produce and family owned farms. People come from all over the world to sip and sample the best Sonoma has to offer in Healdsburg, and there is a lot to see in the main plaza. Sometimes, the best option to explore a multitude of the regional producers is the ‘crawl’ approach; a small bite here, a glass of wine there. As you peruse the picturesque small town, drop into these wine bars to try a little bit of everything Northern California's wine region has to offer in a range of environments.

The Flight Deck

The Flight Deck is a unique wine bar tasting experience on the Healdsburg Square. Wine tasting flights, wines by the glass or bottle, wine educational events, meet the winemaker parties and more happen in this cozy but bustling wine bar. The Flight Deck has reached out to wineries in Sonoma, Napa and throughout California in search of wines that are thrilling to find and enjoy. They arrange every sort of flight, based on producers, regions, and vintages. The Flight Deck hosts ‘meet the winemaker’ parties, where wine lovers can meet the wine producers they have only heard about face to face. And right now, every Wednesday at 4pm is sparkling wine night! This is a great place to stop for liquid appetizers on your way to the rest of your day or evening in Healdsburg.

Baci Cafe and Wine Bar

336 Healdsburg Avenue

Healdsburg, CA 95448

(707) 433-8111

Baci Cafe and Wine Bar simultaneously demonstrates how big, and small the food and wine world can be. Husband and wife owners Lisbeth Holmefjord and Shari Sarabi are from Norway and Iran, respectively, and met in Hawaii where they operated three Italian restaurants. If that doesn’t sound spectacular enough, after years of success in Hawaii they moved together to Healdsburg nearly 20 years ago and began a unique Mediterranean cafe and wine bar dedicated to all things Sonoma. At Baci, the couple offers authentic Italian taste made with regional and seasonal fare, flattered by local wines from all over Sonoma. Not only do they feature Sonoma farms and wineries on their menus, they are active in the community to support the arts. Throughout the year, you can catch Lisbeth and Shari at fundraisers around their community, continuously using their food and wine to give back to the people who support them. This is a great place to acquaint yourself with the world class experience with small town hospitality of Healdsburg and the nearby producers.

Spoonbar

219 Healdsburg Ave

Healdsburg, CA 95448

(707) 433-7222

The wine bar in Healdsburg's h2hotel Spoonbaris a pinnacle of wine country hip. The cocktail program is worth the visit alone, and after a palate cleansing artisanal libation, it's time to dive into the local food and wine represented in this swanky setting. Husband and wife team Casey and Patrick Van Voorhis are the star-crossed lovers running what the Michelin Guide called a ‘sophisticated, vegetable-driven’ kitchen, and everything on the menu is simply delicious. The couple were trained at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, after which they gained experience working at renowned Bay Area restaurants. The modern plating reflects the artful interior, and the wines on the list illustrate the best Sonoma has to offer. The thoughtful selection features the bounty of Sonoma’s many AVA’s, and has enough international wine to keep things interesting. The Spoonbar is busy, vibrant and deserving of all the buzz and business. It is a quintessential stop on any trip through Healdsburg’s Plaza.

Healdsburg is located in the middle of some of Northern Sonoma’s best wine regions. And the Plaza in the middle of Healdsburg is a great place to be. Within walking distance you can find shops, restaurants, ice cream shops, wine bars and coffee that are amongst the best quality products in the world. Next time you are in town, stop by a new place and have a wine and food adventure you may not have expected!
