WINEMAKING
We are very excited about producing a Chardonnay that flawlessly showcases one hundred percent of the fruit characters. Keeping in line with our style, we have created a multi-vineyard blend with less winemaking intervention, unadulterated and unmasked by the influences of oak or malolactic treatment. As with our Sauvignon Blanc fermentation, this juice was allowed to slowly cold ferment in a stainless steel tank to preserve all the fruit flavors. The impeccable balance of fruit and clean, crisp acidity allow this wine to be enjoyed now, but is also a great candidate for short-term cellaring.
WINEMAKER'S NOTES
Distinct aromas of citrus blossoms, fresh-cut tart green apples and hints of grapefruit peel. Full and richly layered with luscious green apple, apricot and peach flavors. Impressive balance and vibrant acidity leads the way for the lingering, refreshing finish. Truly delicious, and crafted to be an ideal accompaniment to a wide array of rich foods; lobster with butter; fish in beurre blanc.
