2002 Chardonnay - Sonoma County / Russian River Valley

VINTAGE
Due to the sensational response to our 2001 RRV Chardonnay from the press and consumers alike, we again incorporated approximately 15% Santa Barbara County / Bien Nacido Vineyard fruit into our Russian River Valley blend. This vineyard contributes a subtle, but very rich, tropical fruit nuance to the more traditional Russian River Chardonnay fruit components of fresh green apple, pear and an accent of lemon/citrus.

WINEMAKER'S NOTES
These grapes were harvested between September 3rd and October 11th, 2003 with an average sugar content of 23.5 degrees brix, .71 gm/100 ml total titratable acidity and 3.40 pH.
